Hey, chickadee. I'm Alison. Professionally curious, chronically full of ideas, and pretty good at figuring things out. I've been making digital stuff since I was a kid, from meticulously organized VHS collections and questionable early internet fan sites full of spinning graphics and glitter text. I've come a long way since then. Thankfully. Although I did meet one of my best friends through an X-Files fandom on Tumblr, so I stand by my early internet obsession. ✦ · ✧ I've always loved figuring out how things work, finding connections, and seeing what happens when an idea turns into something real. That curiosity eventually led me into digital marketing, design, and technology, with stops in corporate offices, creative agencies, and eventually self-employment. ✦ · ✧ A late AuDHD diagnosis helped me understand a whole lot about how my brain works, including my tendency to disappear down rabbit holes, collect interests, and come up with increasingly elaborate solutions to relatively minor inconveniences. These days, I create tools, apps, and games for solopreneurs. Most begin with me trying to solve a problem in my own work, getting frustrated with the available options, and thinking, well, I could probably make that. And then I do. ✦ · ✧ Outside of work, I'm an American living in the Netherlands, a mom of four, a tarot-slinging skeptic, and an enthusiastic collector of tiny things, interesting ideas, and unnecessary amounts of coffee. I love a good mystery, a little absurdity, and the freedom to explore things without needing to know exactly where they'll lead.
